Marangal na Dalit ng Katagalugan

Ramon Ayco Video Productions presents Marangal na Dalit ng Katagalugan (composed by Julio Nakpil in 1996). This is a part of a Philippine musical play directed by the late Ysmael Bernal and performed by BUGKOS and Teatro Pabrika in ten (10) cities of Japan on October and November 1992 sponsored by Takarabune Workers Trade Union and other Japanese organizations and parties. The play became a part of Japanese people protest action against their government’s sending of Japanese troops to Cambodia as part of United Nations Peace Keeping Operation in that war thorned country. That Japanese government’s act was unconstitutional.

nice video i’m the apo of Iday (caridad nakpil santos-viola) the daughter of Julio Nakpil and Gregoria de Jesus. Honestly this is the first time I heard this composition. I only saw it in Lolo Julio’s music sheets. nice one!!!
